Well, I’m back. It’s really weird thinking I’m already a sophomore in college… Oh, and my schedule rocks this semester! Here it is:

MWF 10:00 - Theory III
TTh 1:00 - Intro to Music Business
MTThF 2:00 - Elementary Spanish II
MWThF 3:00 - Algorithms/Internet Programming
MWThF 4:00 - Chorale

And then there’s private piano, whenever that’ll happen. I think I want to take composition lessons with P.D. (Pending Doctor) Brooks. That’ll be fun. Too bad this is a Sibelius campus. Finale’s the way to go. Which reminds me…not six months after I got Finale 2004, they released Finale 2005. Of course, that’s because the Mac OS X version was delayed mightily so it could be released in a usable form. Windows users have had 2004 for a year already. Oh well…

My days left here on the homestead are numbered. In not too much time, I’ll have to leave the comfort of my own room with a queen bed to a room almost the same size that I’ll have to share with another guy (great guy though) complete with long twin beds for each of us. In many ways, my life won’t be my own anymore, and then again, it will be such to a greater degree in a many other ways. Interesting time this is…

So…a couple of my goals for this summer were to work and make some money, and to develop my musical skills, both of which I did. I did want to write music, but not a whole lot came. Same old story…

Ok, I have mixed feelings. I’m excited to be done with work, but that means that summer is almost over. Hopefully this’ll be an awesome year. We’ll see…

Ok, I’m playing for a wedding tomorrow, so rehearsal was tonight. I got there and ended up having to play the organ, which was completely unexpected. Plus, I never got to meet the bride. At the beginning, the bridesmaids and mother of the bride got me to the organ, and after the rehearsal, the bride hustled out (I guess to go eat). So tomorrow will be interesting…

So, do you remember the ad that I found on the internet a while back? The one I posted on here? Remember what it said? Well, in case you don’t, look here. Some sort of ad for weight-loss. Well guess what! Since the beginning of the summer, I have done exactly that…without that stupid diet or pill or whatever. I occasionally weigh myself on the scale at work (the one with which we weigh packages), and according to that scale, I’ve dropped 10 pounds since I started my job. YAY!!! If only I could lose 10-20 more. I hate being fluffy.
