I am a 23 year-old college almost-grad (long story) from Holland, Michigan who currently finds himself in Anderson, Indiana.  I work part-time as a Director in Worship at East Side Church of God and part time as an independent musician.  I’m in the process of putting together a home recording studio in hopes that it can be a significant creative outlet for me.  I’m single and have been for quite some time for probably a number of reasons, none of them very good.  I’m not very good at being a blogger, but I’m getting better at Twittering, so maybe it will translate eventually.

I claim to be a Christ-follower, but I’m not very good at giving up control, so that struggle is a daily issue.  However, I know He loves me and pursues me with all that He is and can’t wait for those little moments in which I finally “get it.”  To borrow the lyric from Mr. Mayer, “I’m in repair; I’m not together, but I’m getting there.”
